However easy it usually is for western men to start a relationship with a Thai woman, so much more difficult it just as usually is to maintain it successfully. In this e-book the underlying conditions and circumstances are clearly illustrated, with stories about what happened with me and others in our relationships with Thai women, girlfriends and wives.
Instead of just formulating Do’s and Don’ts, the author rather tries to bring forward an imperative understanding, needed to avoid the worst, often in terms of financial disaster for the western man. A crucial part of this understanding is to realize the indivisible trinity of true love, money and sex, to which the author has concluded after many years of living in Thailand. The same concept, but without any understanding, is known in the West as “the gender gap” and in Thailand as “the war below the belt (songkraam tai khem kadh)”.
